By accessing or using StatusKit ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Description of Service

StatusKit provides API status page and monitoring services that allow users to:

Create and manage public status pages for their APIs and services
Import and monitor endpoints from OpenAPI/Swagger specifications
Track and report incidents and scheduled maintenance
Notify subscribers of status changes
Collaborate with team members on incident management

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. When you register, you agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information
Maintain and promptly update your account information
Keep your password secure and confidential
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Subscription and Payment

StatusKit offers both free and paid subscription plans. For paid subscriptions:

Billing occurs on a monthly basis unless otherwise specified
Payment is due at the beginning of each billing cycle
Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis
Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
Transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or data
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Send spam or unsolicited communications
Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by StatusKit and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with operating the Service.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

Scheduled maintenance (with advance notice when possible)
Emergency repairs or updates
Factors beyond our reasonable control

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StatusKit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for:

Breach of these Terms
Conduct that we determine is harmful to other users or the Service
Non-payment of applicable fees
Any other reason at our sole discretion

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may export your data before termination where technically feasible.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law
